The Former Stunt rider Eddie Kidd at last crossed the finish line of the London Marathon on Monday night. He has taken 43 days to complete 26 mile route.

Eddie, who is paralysed and brain damaged after a motorbike stunt went horrifically wrong in 1996, defied doctors who said he would never walk again to complete the gruelling course.
Crowds of supporters went wild as a beaming Eddie walked the last steps on a special frame, aided by his wife Sam and celebrity pals Ray Winstone and former The Bill actor Graham Cole.

Hero Eddie's epic achievement has seen him raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity.
Ex-model Sam, 42, cried with joy as her husband popped champagne before family and pals sprayed it all over him.
It was then revealed the marathon hero, who originally set out to raise £50,000, had raised more than £75,000 for Children with Leukaemia and The Eddie Kidd Foundation, and the donations were still coming in.

Speaking afterwards Eddie's wife Sam said: 'I'm lost for words. It's the best thing he has ever done. I'm so proud of him.
'It's amazing. He'd done it, he's done it! The one thing I would say to anyone out there who's disabled, injured or sick: get some perspective. If Eddie can do it, so can you.'
In his prime Kidd was one of the most famous stunt riders in the world.
He first stunned spectators, fans and press in December 1979, when he jumped 80ft across the gap in a derelict railway bridge in Essex on a 400cc Yamaha.

Kidd's achievements culminated in 1993 when he jumped the Great Wall of China and beat Robbie Knievel, son of Evel Knievel, to the stunt bike world championship.
However, his life changed forever when he suffered serious head and pelvic injuries after a failed stunt jumping over a speeding car at the Bulldog Bash rally in Warwickshire in 1996 and was in a coma for six weeks.
He had to wear an £8,500 sensor on his left leg to stimulate nerves and muscles and stop the foot turning inwards so he could walk the marathon.

His friend of 35 years, former Birds Of A Feather actress Linda Robson, said she thinks it's his determination to get back on a bike again that kept him going.
She said: 'He raised over £22,000 for the charity before his accident. He was selling kisses then and now he's done it again.
'It's amazing. I can't believe he's done it. It's been really emotional.
'He reckons he's going to get back on a bike one day and that's what I think has kept him going. He's fantastic, I'm so proud of him.'
